• My first problem is that when I password protect a post it does not work. I can go to the post a hundred times and try typing in the password. It looks like it’s working but then on refresh it still does not display the post. I’ve tried reinstalling WordPress 2.3 and I’ve triple checked the password to make sure it wasn’t a typo. I’ve cleared my cache and refreshed numerous times with little success. Secondly, I use an external host to run my blog and when I use the Next Gen plugin it creates files that don’t give me permission to remove them. I try to go in with filezilla and change the permission, but sense “I” technically didn’t create the file, the server did, then it won’t let me delete it. Is there a way to change the code so that when it creates the files that it doesn’t create it with chmod 666 but rather chmod 755 or 777?

I just discovered that with the password protected files that it will let me into the post but I have to navigate away from the page then return. It will not work with just a simple refresh. Why is this and how can I fix it?
