Password protected pages only via Site refresh

    Hi,
    I’m using
    wordpress Version 2.6
    and with the Firefox 2.0.0.1.6 the password (private) protected pages won’t load flawlessly.
    In Firefox I’m opening the page, enter the password and press enter. So far so good.
    But then the password just being erased. No error message. You can type it in as long as you want to. Even if you put in a wrong password it’ll be erased with no error message.
    BUT it you type in the correct password and press “reload” on the browser, the site will open.
    Strange, eh? With sarfari it’s not a problem. It even works with the IExplorer. Just Firefox is a problem. Any idea?
