Password Protected Page Issues

I am using posts on a page to hold a slideshow. All of my functionality is working except when the page is password protected. It wants to hide both the post and page content. I need to protect the content that is being displayed on the page but allow the images that are being provided by the post to show. Is there any way to achieve this?
