Password Protected loop

    I’ve attempted to find an answer using the search function and reading the posts… BUT
    No Solution.
    When I attempt to password protect a page and I enter the correct password the page won’t open… loops back to saying the page is protected.
    Any help at all, greatly appreciated…

    Try another password, like ‘1111’, and see if you can get it to work. This way, you should be able to tell whether password protection is completely failing. If a really simple password works then you know the feature works.

    Tried that (thanks)… tried deleting and then reinstalling plugins… tried clearing the cache… same problem.. Bah Humbug

    It might be a confliction with a plugin. Try deactivating all of your plugins and see if it works then. If it does work, activate your plugins one-by-one, testing the password protected page after each. This way you can see which plugin is causing the problem.
