Password Protected file Upload

    Hello, I have a question. When I protect a page with a password, my uploaded files (pictures/text-files etc.) can still be found through the direct urls. How can I protect my content? Is there any chance to protect it without htaccess? Something like a plug-in or anything else?

    you mean an .htpasswd right, not an .hatccess ??

    assuming we are both talking about the same thing, that’s not a viable option. Unless you want you visitors to be prompted 2x for a passwd. One by wordpress and once by the server.
