Password protection not working

Hello,

I have developed a site (ACElab) using a customized version of the Bones Theme. I have attempted to make a page password protected, but when I navigate to that page, on any browser, logged out it still goes straight to the page, without prompting for a password. I changed to the 2013 theme and I got the login screen, but it doesn’t accept the password and display the page, it gets stuck on the password screen.

I decided to try a different approach and, using the Members plugin, I thought I would make the page viewable only by users who are logged in. This was also completely ineffective (user can go to the page without being logged in).

So, clearly there is something up with my theme, but I am not sure where look to fix it. Could someone point me in the right direction? What could be causing the issue?
