   Hi,

   WordPress has these options for posting a page:
   public, private, password protect

   I am confused about the "password protect". Is this for subscribers only or something? coz in firefox it works fine. BUT when I open in IE, it has a pop-up window (same as in your windows password box) asking for username and password.. in which it should only be asking password right?

   Anyway, is there another solution to "password protect" a page?

   sorry about that, i see the problem. the folder where it gets the images has an htaccess & password protected. i havent set-up the folder (just copy the look of the page), so i didnt know.
