I’m having a really odd issue with my template. For some reason, when you click on comments, categories or archives, the background disappears, right along with my sidebar. I’ve never had this problem before, so I’m a bit stumped….suggestions??

  • Everything looks ok from here. Firefox and IE6. Nothing dissappears, no matter what I click.

My brain is not working today…it would help if it post the correct URL!!!!!

    *sigh!*

I’m not completely sure, but I’m counting 11 opening divs and 12 closing divs in the page after clicking comments. Also I don’t see a <div> starting after you close the “entrytext”-div. The <h3>, <form> and tags are not contained by their own div?

I took out the extra closing div….and the page does validate. So Im still confused. 🙂

Is this a Kubrick clone? Check your header.php for if statements… that change the layout depending whether it’s a single post view or something else.

I usually start from classic or default as a base template….the head doesnt look like it has anything specific in it…just the normal stuff…

Is there a call for the sidebar.php in your single.php template?

Thank you so much! That totally solved it…my single.php isnt the right one. I guess my files got messed up and I never even thought to check it. Thank you Moshu, youre the best!
