Part of Menu Missing in dkret3

    I am 24 hours new to WP and building with dkret3. When I go to Appearance>Menu, the left hand side of the screen is blank. I cannot work with the Menu items (“Select menu items (pages, categories, links) from the boxes at left to begin building your custom menu”)that should be there. I have checked a box I shouldn’t have and made that part of Menu go away? How can I get them back?

    Thanks but 2 problems. 1) dkret3 website is in German and 2) when I activate the site under a different theme the information is still missing from that Menu also. So could it be an issue outside of dkret3 and with the way wp loaded? Thanks.
