[resolved] Parsing parameters from URL (3 posts)

My companies site is http://www.mycomputerworks.com which is considerably funny considering I need help.
But on to my problem, when we have referral traffic we need to be able to track the lead source for when they call. There is too much cause for human error on the account of sales people. In our header we have the current phone number as well as a sidebar.php with the same number and other contact info.

What I'm trying to see is, is it possible to parse parameters from a referral URL or set up a proxy instead and if either of those is possible. I'm not terribly familiar with php so any help would be greatly appreciated.

It's pretty easy to do this. Any values that are sent via the URL (eg: http://www.mysite.com/my/page?id=12345) will be stored n PHP's global $_GET array. In that example, you could get the ID value from $_GET ["id"] and from there you can use it however you need to.
