Parser Error when accessing the install.php file :-?

Hello… I have installed my test site at http://jndcg.com/wptest/

upon accessing the http://jndcg.com/wptest/wp-admin/install.php files i am receiving the following parser error :

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘.’ in /homepages/35/d242097458/htdocs/wptest/wp-includes/user.php on line 509

Of course, i have checked the file and am now attempting to uninstall everything just to reinstall it to try again… but I have no clue y this error is occurring.
