[resolved] Parse error: syntax error WHELP ( mac user ) (8 posts)

    I've got this error and I can't excess my wp-admin!!! WHELPPPP!!!
    I'm not a wordpress wiz or anything sooo I don't know what to doo :(

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '}' in /home/content/78/8628578/html/wp-content/themes/portfolium1/functions.php on line 84

    I use a mac.. if that helps >.<

    You'll need to use FTP (or Cpanel) to deactivate the theme - which should let you login again - you can find the theme's folder and rename it:

    wp-content
        themes
           portfolium1.HOLD

    If you don't have FTP set up, ask your hosting company for help with that.

    Also, did you modify that file? You may need to download a new copy of the theme to replace that file -

    I'm really not good at this! my host is go daddy~

    Here's a good place to start:

    http://support.godaddy.com/help/article/96/uploading-files-to-your-website-ftp

    Once you get the FTP set up, see what I posted above about where to find that theme folder - just change the name on the folder.
