    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_VARIABLE in /mounted-storage/home28b/sub003/sc25603-XLHZ/xxxxxxxxx/wp-includes/taxonomy.php on line 995

    this happend as i was about to add a video and now the blog has crashed .. 🙁

  • Normally you get this if some php statement misses a semicolon.

    Don’t know how adding a video could mess up your php.

    it was a hosted video so not on my server, over the last week i had tons of errors in the blog…. and before that i have been forced to re install 4 times cause of erros. 🙁

    What version of WordPress are you running?

    line 995 of my taxonomy.php (2.8.4) shows a function called wp_count_terms, which doesn’t do any spectacular actions. Could it be that you’re having some quotes or semicolons in descriptions (categories or links for instances) or tags?

    I have to many posts to really sit down and go thru them all, i run 2.8.4 and is about to give up on wordpress..

    The error is random it appear even if i try to reload the webpage… is there any solution on what to do?

    Ok i uploaded the taxonomy.php and overwrited the old maybe it fix the errors i have been getting lately.
