Support » Plugins » Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_ARRAY

  • Hello Everybody! Woke up this morning and blog was working fine. I noticed there was an update for my Twitter Widget. I downloaded the latest version, then my blog crashed.
I’ve been reading about maybe updating my Php… But I don’t know how to do that.
My blog is hosted on mydomain.com

    Here is the error:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_ARRAY, expecting ‘)’ in /usr/local/pem/vhosts/244725/webspace/siteapps/105567/htdocs/wp-content/plugins/wickett-twitter-widget/wickett-twitter-widget.php on line 231

    and my site is: http://kickthegrind.tv

Have a look at FAQ Troubleshooting and specifically, this section: How to deactivate all plugins when not able to access the administrative menus?

that will at least get your site back up and running.

I am having the same problem. I used my FTP program to delete all the Twitter Wickett files, so I’m up and running again. But now I can’t use the widget. I tried reinstalling and got this:

Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_ARRAY, expecting ‘)’ in /home/content/58/2305858/html/wp-content/plugins/wickett-twitter-widget/wickett-twitter-widget.php on line 231

same error – I’d suggest trying to contact the author of the plugin and let them know.
