    After I uninstalled pie-register Version: 1.2.0
from my wp 3.0 and cut out the top lines on wp-login.php
I got this error on login page:
    http://www.partyefun.it/scherzidivertenti/wp-login.php
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '}' in ........./scherzidivertenti/wp-login.php on line 116
    how to patch it?

I had that problem too, the instructions say to add <?php
session_start(); ?> to the wp-login.php at top, but that breaks it.. maybe more specific instructions.

After uninstalling I had a blank login screen, and some errors as well. What I did to fix the problem was make sure that I removed the white space that was left at the top of wp-login.php when I removed the Pie Register code snippet. Once I backspaced the original first line of code back up to the top everything was back to normal. Phew!

I have the same problem. Except I cannot get into the dashboard at all! And if I add the session_start to the beginning of the wp_login or the end of wp_config, I get the Parse Error.

    What gives?
    Please help.
