I just tried adding the Google Analytics code to my theme page through the functions.php. I got an error code and now I cannot access my site through wordpress. the full error code is:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘<‘ in /home6/rockand9/public_html/wp-content/themes/live-music/functions.php on line 10

I am unable to get past the error code page- any help out there?
    Scott

  • Remove the coding you added to functions,.php. Or upload a fresh copy of the theme via FTP.

So go back to Bluehost and reload the wordpress and then the theme again? Because I am unable to get around my specific site to do anything…

    Not WordPress. Just the theme.

But I can’t get to the theme page on my site. Any attempt to change pages, or even go to the site is met with the error page. I seem to have no ability to navigate to my site or within my site at this time.

Upload a new copy of the theme to your site’s wp-content/themes folder using FTP into your site (or whatever file management application your host provides).

I have contacted cPanel support at Bluehost and they are going to reset it to the back up from this morning at just past midnight. I supposed to give that 1 to 2 hours to occur, I am hoping that works. I appreciate your help and suggestions on this!
