I get the following error statement if I visit my site or attempt to login:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '<' in /home4/mcp21/public_html/wp-content/themes/wpex-photo/functions.php on line 109

    My site is http://pinkertonchiropractic.com/

    How did this occur?
I was attempting to widgetise my site using wordpress' directions which said to paste some code into my functions.php

Once this error showed up, I removed the code. It continued to say the same error, and I tried to find the problem on line 109.

Then a very bad thing happened. I no longer could do anything on my site. If I visit the login page, it shows the same error code. Anything having to do with the site shows the error code. What can I do?
