    I tried to follow a tutorial on WP Beginner and I’ve broken something. Every time I try to log into WP Admin I get the following error

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘”‘ in /home/content/21/10729521/html/wp-content/themes/desk-mess-mirrored/functions.php on line 642

    I’m a newbie to self-hosting and wordpress.org and I have no idea what to do to fix this.

    Help?

    I should mention I am using WP 3.5.1 & Go Daddy is my host server. Theme is Desk Mess Mirrored and the tutorial instructed to enter code at the end of the function.php, which clearly broke it.

    copy the code from functions.php file and put in pastebin.com. After that share the pastebin link here.then we can fix the code

    and how would one go about doing that if they can’t log into the WP Admin page (where I changed the code)?

    sorry to be a bit dense, but complete newbie here

    I found the function.php file, removed offending code and saved file. Has reverted to original. Not touching that again until I learn more of coding!!

    Thanks for jump starting my brain.

    now you can not login through wp-admin you have to reupload your functions.php from filezilla in your theme directory

    tengo este error me pueden ayudar por favor. No me deja ingresar a wp-admin.

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘<‘ in /home/tucantou/public_html/web/wp-content/themes/duotive-three/functions.php on line 31

    ingrese el siguiente código en el archivo functions.php::

    add_custom_background();

    Para Habilitar los fondos personalizados y cabeceras personalizadas
