   I have unzipped wordpress 3.0.1 at the root of my site (not mysite/wordpress), configured the config file, renamed it, and when I try to access /wp-admin/install.php it gives me this error...

   Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '.' in /homepages/19/d309321918/htdocs/wp-includes/user.php on line 588

   Any help please?
