   I am getting the following parse error after changing my Permalink to /%postname%/

   Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /home/ebookjl/public_html/jmyleereviews.com/wp-content/themes/coralis/single.php on line 8

   I was also rying to change my permissions in the htaccess file from 644 to 666

   What I want is for my Topic post to be picked up as http://www.sitename.com/topic.html

   did you ever resolve this issue. I have exactly the same issue.

   everytime I click on save changes on permalink I get the Parse Error
