    I made some changes to my index.php file and when I visit my website I get a message like in this example:

    Parse error: parse error, unexpected $ in /usr/local/psa/home/vhosts/mysite.com/httpdocs/wp-content/themes/test-theme/index.php on line 41

    Can someone tell me what it means and provide a suggestion on how to correct it ? - I've tried a couple things and can't seem to correct the problem,

    Thanks

    Oh yes,

    I don't know if this helps but this is on line 40 of my index.php file:

    <?php get_footer(); ?>

    and there is no line 41 in my index/php file

    Sorry, I just noticed that the example message was cut off

    Here it is again:

    Parse error: parse error, unexpected $ in /usr/local/psa/home/vhosts/mysite.com/httpdocs
    /wp-content/themes/test-theme/index.php on line 41

  4. URL please...

    I took me a couple hours to figure out but I guess it means that something isn't closed

    After trying several things, I walked through the php files and found and "if" tag that did not have and "end" tag - must have missed it when I cut a pasted the item

    Anyway, problem solved,
