[resolved] Parent slug in Child Post URL (3 posts)

Is there a way to make a child post use a parent post's slug in the url to that child post? For example, Rooms are a child post of House. I would like to have something like.....

    http://www.example.com/houses/house_1/rooms/room_1

Is this possible? I can't find any info about this here or in the instructions.

There is no way to do that with the Types plugin alone, but I'm sure you can do it by adding some rewrite rules: http://codex.wordpress.org/Class_Reference/WP_Rewrite

This is a WordPress thing and not something that we control in Types.

WordPress permalinks build a hierarchy for pages. Since Types parent / child relationship permits different parents to the same child, there's no way to make the Types parent in the URL.
