Support » Fixing WordPress » Parent Page not appearing on Menu

  • Greetings,
I am editing the http://www.riissettlement.org website and I have created a new page that I want to appear as a child of the “programs” menu. I have placed the new page as a child of the programs menu but it still does not appear under the Programs menu. I have also gone to the menu page and dragged the page into the appropriate place under the programs menu. I am wondering whether this issue has something to do with the fact that the program menu itself appears on all pages via a dynamic widget? The page DOES appear as a child of the Programs menu in the navigation bar in the left-side column (see “Adult Services”) of the following page:
But it does NOT appear as an actual option under the menu tab “Programs”
Here is the website: http://www.riissettlement.org/ Here is the page that should be appearing as a child under the menu tab “Programs:” http://www.riissettlement.org/programs/adult-resources/

    Please advise asap!?

  • Can you replicate the problem using the default Twenty Thirteen theme with all plugins deactivated?

Unfortunately i’m not too wordpress savvy – can you point me toward a resource to figure out how to do that?

You can switch to the 2013 theme via Appearance -> Themes.
You can deactivate all plugins via the Plugins menu item.
