Hello --
Anybody experience the following?: code for paragraph breaks disappear (
)whenever you go back into the post to make a correction, and must re-enter the code at beginning of every paragraph every time you go back to dashboard? How can this be avoided? I'm writing text directly onto dashboard, so there's no wordperfect code craziness that's migrating over...have installed all updates, plugins, etc...Help!
site is here:

I'm not certain this is the problem but I had that happen too when I first started using wp. I didn't know you had to save code under the html editing tab, if you save html in the visual editor it won't work right.

Yeah, I insert code in HTML and click update, go to page on site, looks fine, then go back to dashboard in html and code is gone...had that happened to you?
Only if I saved a post or page which contained html with the visual editor open. i could be wrong but my understanding is that if I save any post or page which has html, i have to save it with the html editor open, not the visual editor. It's such an old habit now, I'll have to test it again and confirm. Although that may not be what you're even dealing with.
Yeah, it dumped my code, only left the text part. Looks like that could be your issue.

ah, so going from HTML to visual and then updating, that dumped your code?
To be more specific, when I SAVE the edit, I must have the html screen open. Otherwise, I can switch back and forth while editing and everything stays.
If there's no html added through the html editor, then of course it's fine to save with the visual editor open.
Like I said, it's been a habit for so long I forgot why I even do it. I'm glad I revisted.

So you click "Save Draft" after entering text in HTML, and that allows you to switch back and forth unmolested?
yeah, it only matters when you save, just don't save with the visual editor open, unless you have entered no html. Try it and confirm.
The thing that confuses me is the visual editor uses html, you just don't see it, so ... what the heck? oh well, go figure.
