   Hello everyone,

   my host is telling me they are going to upgrade their MySQL version from 4.0 to 4.1.
   It seems that there are big compliance troubles.
   They aren't able to tell me if Wrodpress blogs will be damaged by this upgrade.
   I have 4 sites based on a WordPress Blog, so I'm scared!
   Do you have any idea about the impact of this upgrade on WordPress blogs?...

   Help! :(

   theres absolutely no problem with MySQL 4.1 and wp.

   4.1.20 was released back in May 06, your host is behind the times, in fact. If my memory serves me right that addressed a security issue, among other things.

   be thankful, not afraid.

   i'm sure there is no problem of compatibility between MySQL 4.1 and wp blogs. But what if the blog was installed with MySQL 4.0?...
   What is going to happen when MtSQL upgrades?...

   If you are that incredibly concerned, make sure that you have a current db backup.

   hahah, I WAS kidding :) Dont hold your breath waiting for that to happen.

   Everything will be fine, honest, and if it isnt, God knows, someone here can help you fix it :)

   I'm so glad to tell you everything went fine.
   I'm still alive, Armagedon is delayed... ;)
