Pagination with page names | WordPress.org

Hello! I’m wondering if it’s possible to add pagination to one of my wordpress posts and then add names to the different pages? You see I’m going to make a guide with different steps and the steps have names. So I don’t want wordpress to say like “Next” and “Previous” but I want it to show names of the different pages.

Hope someone here can help me with this. Thanks 🙂

hi Andreas,

No need for a plugin, this line of code in my single.php file does it:

<div class=”navigation”>
<?php previous_post_link(‘«%link’) ?> ::: <?php next_post_link(‘%link »’) ?>
</div>

The “:::” part is just my customization, you can put whatever you like there to separate your navigation links.
