Pagination urls

As of now, pagination links are like:

http://mysite.com/page/#numberofthepage#

Since I’m a non english WP user, what if I would like to translate the “page” portion of the url into my language equivalent?
If it’s not possible, could you please consider inserting this feature in a future release?
