[resolved] Pagination Issues all versions (5 posts)

Soo... using versions 1.1.7-1.1.9 the issue is the same. Pagination does not work at all no matter my many attempts from these threads:

    http://wordpress.org/support/topic/plugin-google-picasa-viewer-version-117-still-has-pagination-issues?replies=3

The client has purchased pro and so I attempted this, unfortunately, besides the additions added it doesn't keep the basic structure/features that it originally had. For example:

    • No way to distinguish number of albums in widget/page as opposed to number of photos on page (30+ photos on page but on 9 albums in sidebar)
    • The HTML markup adds <li> tags making all of previous version styles from obsolete, and now there's extra spacing
    • Pro 1.3 pagination does work, uses some ajax method it appears so there is now way of permalinking to a page

At this point since, Pro's pagination works I simply need to know how I can limit the number of albums in the widget so there aren't 30+ plus in the sidebar even though I have 30+ on the image page. After that I'll still need to restyle it since html markup is different then the free version.

Thanks for any help you can provide I've already spent too much time troubleshooting this.

I can confirm that as of v1.2.0 on WordPress v3.4.1 pagination is broken. The query variable "&page=2" is stripped off the query string, sending you right back to page one of the album.

I was prepared to investigate this as some quirk of my site being on a server running with PHP safe mode enabled, but I see other people complaining of the same issue.

This is pretty basic functionality to be broken in a released plugin. I still have an urge to chalk it up to my particular setup, because I can't understand how this plugin could make it into the wild borked in this way.
