• It seems that when a page has no title, there is no way for a user to go to it in search results.

I think there are legitimate reasons for not having a page title. My home page has no WordPress title because I want to use a different formatting scheme than the default system that is used to display titles.

(I’m using the SearchEverything plugin to get pages to be searched.)

You should probably take this up with the author of the plugin that you’re using to search pages.

I disagree. The search results are printed by the main WordPress machinery. And the default in a future version of WordPress could (should, in my opinion) easily include pages in search results.

Everything is printed by the main WordPress machinery. But if you have some plugin altering the query, then it’s impossible to say why you’re getting the results you see because it’s the plugin altering the query.

So disagree all you like, you still need to ask the author of the plugin, if you want a real answer.
