Customizr
[resolved] Pages vanished after Customizr update (5 posts)

    So,a few weeks ago I was running WP 3.6 and updated customizr with its latest release. When I did this two pages have vanished from my dashboard and are inaccessible from the site itself; generating 404 errors.

    I understand that the page is dynamic and therefore not stored. I have checked with my host and they haven't found errors in the database that would imply any problems there.

    I would like to know why this has happened and what can be done to resolve it.

    Hi mm3kix,
    The theme can not delete your pages. There are nothing in the code that will do so.
    The pages you create are displayed dynamically but are stored in the wp_posts table of your database.
    Check if the pages have not been deleted by mistake...
    I really can't help much more than this
    Bests

    Thanks Nikeo. I've done some digging and although the pages weren't in the trash on my admin panel they were mis-labelled in the database

    @mm3kix are you still using Page Builder to create your pages? This plugin could be conflicting with the theme code.

    What happens if you deactivate it? Do your pages reappear?

    If you know html, you could use the underlying bootstrap scaffolding to layout your pages instead.

    For example:

    <!-- ******************NEW ROW OF CONTENT****************** -->
    <div class="row-fluid">

      <div class="span4">
      Your content
      </div>

      <div class="span4">
      Your content
      </div>

      <div class="span4">
      Your content
      </div>

    </div>
    <!-- ***************END OF ROW OF CONTENT****************** -->

    will give you a 3-column layout and

    <!-- ******************NEW ROW OF CONTENT****************** -->
    <div class="row-fluid">

      <div class="span6">
      Your content
      </div>

      <div class="span6">
      Your content
      </div>

    </div>
    <!-- ***************END OF ROW OF CONTENT****************** -->

    will give you a 2-column layout etc. Just make sure that your spanXs add up to 12 in any .row-fluid.

    @mm3kix,

    What exactly was the solution to your problem? i.e.-how were they mislabelled.

    My pages have disappeared when I view them since updating to ver3.0.10. In the page editor, the content is there but just not displaying when viewed. This didn't happen with the last update and not sure whey it's happening now.

    I'm looking in my database under wp_posts but not exactly sure where to find my pages or what names should be displayed there. Everything seems to look fine but not exactly sure.

    Thanx.
