   I have read thru a bunch of articles and can still not get my pages to render other than using the default permalinks. I am running WP on Windows. I get the 404 error page from GoDaddy's standard page. I am using multisite and the domain page renders just fine. Its when I navigate to a few new pages is when I get the 404 error. I review the network setup again and I believe its setup correctly.

   goDaddy requires you to get at least a dedicated IP to use multisite.

   Is that even for multisite with subfolders, or just subdomains?

   I'm having this same issue with WP 3.1a multisite on a non-GoDaddy host. For one of the sites, Pages always return a 404; Pages on other sites in the network are not affected.
