I've installed WP 3.0, as well as the latest version of Magazine Basic. FOr some reason, I can't get my "pages" to appear on the front page. The categories appear, as wellas everything else. The pages appear when I look to edit them but they don't appear when i view them. I get a blank page for each one.

    Any help?

    Have you tried:

    - deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    - switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?

I am having the same problem. I've looked all over and I can't figure out how to get the pages to show. It's quite frustrating... I noticed this problem after I downloaded the last version of Magazine Basic - a little hesitant to get the new one but I may have no other choice...

Not too sure what you mean by your pages not appearing on the front page. Where? In the nav menu? Have you setup your menu using the new WordPress 3.0 menu system? It is under the Appearance panel in the wp-admin.

The pages do not appear to visitors. They only appear when you look at them as an administrator through the wordpress portal as a preview. I am having the same problem. No matter how you rearrange them, delete whatever and start over, the "pages" are not appearing at all.

Yes, I've tried the new menu feature. It lists the pages as categories, not as pages as it had on previous versions. And still, when you click on that specific category, the page is blank.

I've also deactivated all plug-ins to see if there might be one causing this problem. The pages still don't appear.

Are you sure you are not setting your pages to private? Or password protecting them?

The new menu system in WordPress 3.0 allows you to select categories, pages or links to appear in either of the two menu locations in Magazine Basic. You have total control of what appears where.
