Pages links/menu being displayed underneath products in shop page

I used to use woocommerce and discarded it due to image’s not being displayed correctly in shop area.

I have installed Jigoshop and have a problem where there are links/menus of all pages displayed at the bottom of the shop page.

I have googled this and come up with no substantial fix.

I have tried custom css
dynamic widgets
nuking the entire shop deleting the plugin and reinstalling it

all of these items have not been successful.

if anyone can assist i would be truly grateful.
