Pages Don't Exhibit Category Behaviour

    After installing “Post Tags and Categories for Pages” I assigned categories to several pages. Then ran a couple of tests as follows:

    1) Viewed Pages with Assigned Categories – the assigned categories don’t show up at the top of the pages as they do with posts

    2) Drop Down Menu for Pages and Posts with Assigned Categories – the posts with the assigned categories show up in the drop down menu but not the pages.

    Please advise how to resolve this discrepancy.

    Both issues will be because of how your theme displays the pages. So in the template file that shows the pages, it doesn’t call the tags and categories.

    You will need to add code to your theme to show them.

    I’m not sure I understand enough about the 2nd item to give you a proper direction for a fix on the issue. Again it’s to do with your theme not calling the pages that are associated with the tags/categories.
