I recently upgraded from 3.0.2 to 3.0.2. Everything went well except for my pages. Although all of my pages are on the front end of my site (zachpetschek.com) they do not exist on the pages admin panel. "no pages found". I went into the permalinks menu and set them to one of the preset structures, no change. I changed it back to my own structure, no change.
Did I miss something?
Have you tried:
- deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
- switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?

Yes I have already deactivated the plugins, same problem. It's not the theme either.
Try re-uploading all files & folders - except the wp-content folder - from a fresh download of WordPress.

Try re-running the upgrade - with all plugins deactivated and using the Twenty Ten theme.

I uploaded a Screen Shot to show what it is doing. It knows that the pages exist, but it will not give me access to them

Have you tried repairing your database? Do you have a recent database backup?

I don't have a DB backup from before I started having these issues. Does repairing it mean wiping it clean and starting from scratch?

Is it possible that the install removed some of my permissions? I am logged in as admin but I noticed that when I try to activate Aksimet I get an error saying that I do not have sufficient permissions
Does repairing it mean wiping it clean and starting from scratch?
No. It's an operation that is run via your database management tools - usually PhpMyadmin.
Is it possible that the install removed some of my permissions?
It's not a permissions issue but database corruption might also explain the issue with Akismet.

Can you guide me on where to find the DB management tools?
I'm afraid you'll need to ask your hosts about this. It varies from host to host.

I repaired the database, optimized the database, reinstalled 3.0.3, and I still cannot edit the pages. Is it possible to just install the old version of WP instead?
You could install an older version but you'd also need to set a database to match that version and import the content from one of your older backups.

What else can be done then?

So I tracked the issue down. My htaccess file was hacked and compromised so it had to be restored. Reinstalling WP didn't affect it. I also eliminated some plugins and my old theme because they were infected.

Same here. I had over a hundred .htaccess files throughout the site. The info in there referred to some malicious PHP code being inserted on all pages, parsing them as php! Looks like some iframe placements pointing to a guy in the Bahamas with the domain zlenbigret.com
