• When you create a new page, by default it seems that the page is shown in the default menu. I seem to remember that in older versions of WordPress you could decide whether or not you wanted pages to show in a default menu or not.
Is that still so, and where do I find it?

    Thanks in advance
    Jacob

  • If you are using a custom Menu, look in Admin->Appearance->Menus just to the right of the Menu name near the top. It is a checkbox for ‘Automatically add new top-level pages’.

I don’t know how it would work if not using a custom Menu.
