Pages and Permalinks

I’m trying to create pages in the following structure:

/coaches/basketball
/coaches/soccer
/coaches/baseball
etc

and
/sports/basketball
/sports/soccer
/sports/baseball
etc

I’m using the custom structure for permalinks as /%category%/%postname% but the result I’m getting is:

/basketball
/soccer

Does anyone know how to do what I’m trying to do? Thanks in advance!
