[resolved] Pages and Links don't show, but I didn't disable them (8 posts)

    Hello,

I am using Adminimize to make my job easier in simplifying the dashboard for my client. Thanks so much!

One problem...I have not selected the "Pages" and "Links" section to be hidden for the author but they do not show up in the author account. Everything else hides like it should. If there's anything else I should describe I could but everything else does not quite seem to matter.

Maybe you have change the capabilities of the role.
Is hard for me to see a problem, on other installs, many, and my tests works fine.

I do not see what you mean by change the capabilities of the role.

The "author" role does not have "pages" and "links" hidden yet it still disables permissions to see it for the author account.

Yes, this is default on WordPress. You must change the role to higher level or change the capability of the role 'author', like with the plugin Members. Adminimize hide only, not change roles and capabilities.

Oh I see, you're saying that the author level does not have the ability to do links and pages in the first place? Got it.
