PageRank check for optional link backs

    Hi,
    Just a general question regarding plugin development. You know the way we can ask our plugin users to optionally tick a checkbox and we then place a link back to our websites. I was wondering with Google penguin becoming a menace with over optimization of link text, does wordpress allows that we PageRank check user website and do not push a link if authority of the website is quite low.

    I hope I am making sense above.
