   My WP 2.8 shows url for page and category by numbers -
   http://site.com/blog/?cat=52
   http://site.com/blog/?page_id=445

   How to change it to Page name and Category name?

   go to Permalinks under general settings.
   Change the PERMALINK STRUCTURE to something you want ...
   (you also have a link inside the admin area to the same place)
