So I seem to be having a very similar issue as described ... here
But that thread never had a answer... So here it goes...
I have a page called Products. That is the title of the page. My permalink shows that it would be http://domain.com/products/
I have another page, its permalink shows http://domain.com/products/productname1/
I have them both show in the menu so that I get a nice menu option Products with a sub entry productname1. Now the problem is that when I go to http://domain.com/products/productname1/ I get a 404 on the content. But if I capitalize the P in products it works. The permalink says its lowercase, but it really is uppercase? I'm confused....

Ok, so as described above, I'm still having an issue. I have scoured through the wordpress database and even updated a few columns to reflect the lower case 'products' instead of the uppercased 'Products' but to no avail.
Here is the example that gives a Not Found error.
http://174.120.5.220/~kissofna/products/china-glaze-nail-enamel/
This url works however...
http://174.120.5.220/~kissofna/Products/china-glaze-nail-enamel/
Notice that the only difference is the capital P. Where the heck could this be coming from? I've tried resaving the permalinks setting, I've gone through the database looking for problems... my .htaccess matches the standard wordpress .htaccess. I'm at a loss right now. If you click on the menu link it goes to the lower case version and is Not Found. Put in an uppercase it it works... ANY IDEAS?????

Hi,
I have the exact same problem. Have you found a solution ?
I created a page /sitemap. The only way I can view the page without getting a 404 is by using an uppercase S in /Sitemap.
Thanks
Ben
