    I was wondering if there was a plugin or something available to have individual titles to the pages. For instance and 'About' page should have the title displayed on the browser title bar. Similarly individual post pages wshould have the healdines displayed as titles beside the website nae. Please let me know.

    You don't need a plugin for this if Im not wrong, just add

    <?php wp_title(); ?> after your site title in <title> tag :)

    Hi truth, just a small problem. When I resort to the method suggested by you, I get the text of the article headline, overlapping onto the main title of my blog. Any idea how to rectify this? Let me know if you need further explanation.

    Bhooshan,

    I think you may be confused about what you mean by title. The title bar is part of the browser, the title of the page that you are viewing in the window decoration at the very top (usually left) corner of the browser itself. Do you mean the header section of your blog perhaps?

    Cheers,
    Michael.

    Hi Niziol. I mean the title of the page which is reflected on the title bar of the browser at the top left corner. You can visit http://www.bhooshan.com and check it out. Currently it is showing "Bhooshan Pandya | Interface & Usability Designer" on the home and the WP Pages (About, Contact, etc) I want the title of the post to come there when the viewer clicks on the Permalink.

    When I employed truth's method, the title of the article was reflected on the title bar but it also got overlapped on my website logo. Just wanted to know if there's any other wa to resolve this.

    I want the title of the post to come there when the viewer clicks on the Permalink.

    That's what WP is doing by default: you have your blog title AND your post's title - the best thing you can have for a SE.
    So, where is the question?

    It looks perfectly fine to me using Firefox 1.5.0.2 on SuSE Linux 10, no overlap whatsoever. The only thing I could vaguely imagine as the cause of over-lap on your computer would be your screen resolution maybe (ie: maybe yours is too small to fit everything?) - probably unlikely but unless I really have no clue what your talking about, it's the onlything I can think of.

    Good luck,
    Michael.

    ook Michael. I think I jumped the gun here. I was actually testing on my local machine but when I read your post I went over to the WP website and found it to be working there as well. Thanks so much for your co-operation and Hail WordPress!! :-)
