Page title instead of SEO title on pages? (3 posts)

    Hello,

I'm wondering, is it possible to display the Page title instead of SEO title on pages? The SEO title we want to optimize for Google, but should not be visible on the pages.

Or maybe there's another option to fix this?

    Best regards, Marcel

Doesn't anyone have a solution to this?
I still haven't figured this out myself, so help would be most welcome!
    Regards, Marcel

    Hi Marcel,

The SEO title is displayed in the <title> tag of your page - it shouldn't be visible on your page, unless you are using a theme that does that. What theme are you using?

In general, themes will display the contents of the "title" field, above the "post contents" field where the visual editor resides.

The SEO title can be filled in in a box somewhere below that. If you are filling in what you want for the SEO title in the box above your post content, then that is likely to appear in your page. :)

Do you have a URL for us to look at?
