Hi there,
when I recently posted a new blog using WP, it occurred to me that the title in the header changes according to the title of the new blogpost.
Does anyone know how to resolve this issue? I tried to find out myself, but obviously I didn't find an answer.
Thanks in advance
could we have a link to your site to view the problem?

Of course, here you go:
Werven via Google

Oh by the way, the title of the page should be 'Werven via Google'..
That is set that way so that your posts get indexed as a page and that good for SEO
When you are in home page it should have your title you set in settings general it only changes when your visitor clicks to read the article.
If you notice that browser has both

Thanks for your answer.
The problem is that on the homepage the title of the first post is displayed as the title of the entire site.
I've already checked the general settings; the title of the page is set as 'Werven via Google'. Only it isn't displayed.
May be its the theme setup that way, have you activated the default theme twentyten and see if it does same if not than the theme is set up to show it that way.

Thanks, it seems that this is the case.
Would it be too much to ask if I were to ask whether there is a work around so that I can use the current theme while having a standard title for my homepage?
You need make some changes in your header.php file if you can put header.php code in pastebin will look at it and see where you need to make change.
