Page text on Portfolio Page does not display | WordPress.org

Configuring a Page using Portfolio Page Template, I entered some text to display at the top of the page but text does not display when viewing the page. Is that by design? Can I do anything to display the text? (Using Illustratr theme on WordPress.com.) Thanks!

Hi Curt,

it is necessary to make changes in the portfolio.php or portfolio-post.php files, that are located in the folder with your theme, but not in the folder with the plugin. In such a case all the changes will be displayed.
