Page template calling tag archive

Can someone please recommend the most efficient solution for this:

I’m looking to create about 30 pages with each page representing a team. Each page would have the same layout:
– a featured image
– a secondary image/logo
– about 10 items in an info box for each team (e.g. mascot, stadium, coach, etc.)
– a list of all posts in which that team is tagged

I’m thinking of using a new page template with custom fields displaying the photos/info. How would I get the list of recent posts onto each page? Would I assign a custom field for the particular tag and then call the posts using that?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
