Hi, I'm a new WordPress user. Installation went smoothly. So I put this support question in the Troubleshooting segment. I also tried to find a solution on the Forums, but couldn't find what I was looking for. So here goes.

    I'm using WP 2.3.3, PHP 5.2.5, MySQL 5.0.45.

I created a new Page (#3 after Home & About). It looked fine. I could edit it. Then I decided to delete the page and create a new one with the same title (#4). It kept showing the old (deleted) Page #3 contents. Even though when I looked at the page in the admin page, it showed the correctly altered text. I did this a couple more times. I then created another page (now had #1 #2 #6 #7) with a different title. Now I get Page #6 with the new text and title for Page #7 and Page #7 has the text and title of Page #6. (About the same experience as Page #4). When I delete Page #7, the old text reverts to Page#6 when displayed, even though when I go to edit the content, it shows the new (correct) text.

Also. I added some categories but they never got displayed.

I cleared my cache every time I updated a pages content. The pages were all Published.

WP looks to be "flakey" from my first experiences with it. So. Does anybody recognize this behavior and know how to fix it.

Anyone want to take a stab at this one?

I found this in my database. Would it be related?..

The following indexes appear to be equal and one of them should be removed: post_content, post_content_2

I also found this in my database...

    Rows post_content
    2 <a href="http://www.dnoa.org/profile.selldoms%4...
1 I've acquired many domains related to domains,
1 This website has been setup to sell my portfolio

This looks correct. The bottom row is my Home Page, The middle row is my About Page and the top row is my created page. Actually I have 2 created pages. But this IS NOT what is displaying!!!

First, are you using the WP default theme or ??? The category issue might be related to the theme.

Rather than deleting the pages set the unwanted page's status to 'Draft' and see what happens.

My experience with WP has been pretty solid and haven't heard of anything like this happening.

OK. I've pinpointed it down to the use of the Domain_Portfolio 1.1 plugin being added to the page. It appears to be serving up old deleted text along with the plugin. Still any ideas would be appreciated. This plugin seems to be working well on other sites.
