   My client wants the pages listed in the sidebar in an order by chronological topics, not alphabetical. There are parent pages and subtopic pages involvedl

   I went into each page on the dashboard and under "Page Order" I put a numbering system of 10s for parent page themes, and the 1-9s for subpages. The order appears correct on the Manage > Pages listing, but it doesn't show up right on the sidebar.

   Am I missing something?

   Did you edit the wp_list_pages() Template Tag in your sidebar to sort by page order?

   It dawned on me: I forgot to set the page order popup choice in the Pages sidebar widget. I'm using widgets so that's where I overlooked the change.

   Hallelujah!!! Thank you David....I have been driving myself mad with this issue, changed the sidebar code and all. and then realized after reading your post I had totally overlooked my widget!!
