Hi, I'm really new to wordpress and am just getting to grips with the basics. I've just started to set up my husbands home business website - Can some kind sole please help with a page order problem I have with the 'Chocolate Bar' theme. I want the pages to appear in the menu in a specific order and yet they still appear alphabetically. I have changed the page order in the Write Page section and it appears as I want in Page Management, it just doesnt publish that way. Sorry if this sounds stupid but it is really frustrating :o(

Hi - any help with this please? Would be much appreciated...
admin -> Links -> Manage Links -> Order by:
admin -> Links -> Link Categories -> Sort Order:
samboll - that is wrong.
lcnewbe - two ways:
- edit sidebar.php and enter the links yourself. If you do not add many pages this is a way to have complete control
or
- Edit a page, and in the title add a space before the title words. A title with a space will make that page display at the top. If you then added 2 spaces to another post it would rise to the top and so on. Fiddly though.
I suppose I'm not understanding what she wants?

Thanks Podz, the spacing thing has worked a treat and has got the result I was looking for.
The best answer I found for this problem was to edit the sidebar.php file with the information in the following thread:

That way I didn't have to look at using spacing in the title of each page.
