Page not found with Firefox/Chrome since 12 days

    Hello,

    It is now something like 12 days that my wordpress 3.2.1 (french) has erratic behaviors especially with Firefox and Chrome (Windows, mac not confirmed).

    When typing the usual URL (domain with or without www) it goes to a website not found.

    If i do a search on google and click the link it work on a 50% basis.

    IE, Opera, Safari Mac or Windows load perfectly the website pages.

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    Yes i have read that this is must before doing anything else. 🙂

    So yes i have done this already.

    If this is browser specific, it suggests that there is either an issue in the pages themselves (bad markup or scripts) or there’s a problem with the server. Can you post a link to your site?

    I had a redirect to my blog i have slightly modified it (from http://streetgeneration.fr/news/index.php to http://www.streetgeneration.fr/news/).

    I hope this will do something… 🙁

    I can access your site using Firefox 8 without any obvious problems. What happens if you remove the redirect?

    Hi,

    Well since i have changed the redirect it seams better.
    I can’t tell why and it is a little upsetting but so far so good.

    If you have any idea why this weird behavior i’ll be glad to know.
